New Student & Parent Call Center Launched
9/2/2011

We are pleased to announce the launch of a newly redesigned call center for the students and parents who look to the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) for answers about going to college. Building on the theme of Before College, During College and After College from our website (collegeillinois.org), the comprehensive design of the new ISAC Call Center ensures that callers' questions can all be answered in one place, regardless of their stage in the college experience. The call center is staffed by individuals experienced in all areas of planning and paying for college.

The ISAC Call Center replaces what was previously known as the College Zone Counselor Unit, but a lot of the same people, plus some new voices, will be answering your calls. While the toll-free number for students and parents (800.899.4722) remains the same, the e-mail address has changed to isac.studentservices@isac.illinois.gov. All correspondence received from the ISAC Call Center – including e-Messages and responses to student and parent inquiries – will now arrive from this address. Please make a note of the new e-mail address to eliminate any potential delay in receiving information from ISAC.
