- Help your child determine the after-college cost of living and establish the income needed to support that lifestyle.
- Give your child advice concerning the job-search. Review résumés and encourage your child to actively search for jobs.
- Be prepared to repay any parent loans.
- If your child received any scholarships or grants that carried specific terms and conditions once a degree has been completed, be sure that any requirements and obligations are fulfilled to prevent the award from converting to a loan, which would need to be repaid with interest.
