  • Review your current college savings program, including any prepaid tuition and/or college savings accounts, to make sure you’re keeping up with the annual inflation of college tuition. If you have not already set up a savings program, start now. 
  • Help your child develop good study habits and schedule study time each day.
  • Spend family time discussing college.
  • Help your child explore different interests and identify those things most enjoyed.
  • Explore college-prep curriculum options with the school counselor to determine what your child’s school offers.
  • Help your child plan for high school and research college-prep courses for the freshman curriculum.
