A November 13, 2008 article from Inside Higher Ed reports that, as the U.S. economy faces significant challenges, enrollment for online college classes continues to increase. Although experts anticipate that the level of online enrollment will eventually hit a plateau, double-digit increases are projected for at least the next year. The article is based on a study produced with the College Board and the Babson Survey Research Group at Babson College, with the results from an annual College Board survey.
The article is available at the Inside Higher Ed Web site.
