Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program

2008-09

The FY2009 appropriation (for 2008-09 academic year awards) has not yet been finalized for this program. This is a federally-funded program that is administered by ISAC.

Payment

A Robert C Byrd Honors Scholarship Eligibility Certification/Payment Request Roster will be sent to colleges for students who were awarded on September 17th when the eligible student submits a 2008-09 Eligibility Certification form certifying that they continue to meet the program requirements and indicate their enrollment plans for the 2008-09 academic year. The payment request roster must be returned to ISAC within 30 days of date listed on the roster.

The Eligibility Certification/Payment Request Rosters for students included in the first round of awarding in April 2008, were due back to ISAC on October 17th.

Students will not be included on the Eligibility Certification/Payment Request Roster until they return a completed 2008-09 Eligibility Certification form.

Award Announcement

ISAC sent eligibility letters, the Eligibility Certification forms and Rights and Responsibilities documents to an additional round of Robert C. Byrd scholars on September 17, 2008. Completed Eligibility Certification forms were due back to ISAC on October 15th so that their college will be able to request payment on their behalf for the 2008-09 academic year.
